1. Remove your jewellery when showering, doing housework, or gardening.

2. Avoid spraying hairspray. perfume, or other chemicals onto the jewellery; 
this includes chains as they might harm the finish or leave a residue.

3. Jewellery should be stored away from natural sunlight and heat. 
And should not be stored in the bathroom or any humid spot.
